Sangla tehsil status from Oct 16

SANGLA HILL, Sept 27: The new Sangla Hill tehsil of Nankana Sahib district will formally start functioning by Oct 16. Official sources said on Tuesday renovation of the buildings of the teshil court and other offices was in full swing.

An additional sessions judge, a senior civil judge and a civil judge will be posted there.

Meanwhile, Mazhar Ali Bhatti has been appointed the first Sangla Hill tehsildar.—APP
