ISLAMABAD: Eid Miladun Nabi would be observed on October 30 (Friday), as the Rabi-ul-Awwal crescent was not sighted on Saturday, said a notification of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

Quoting a decision of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, the notification said the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal would commence on October 19 (Monday).
