MIRPURKHAS: An army soldier and his wife were killed in an accident on the Digri-Mirwah Gorchani road on Monday. The couple’s two children travelling with them escaped unhurt, the area police said.
The deceased were identified as Mr Adnan and his wife Sadaf.
Reports said that a speeding car hit the motorcycle they were riding at the Sunehri bus stop, seriously injuring the couple. They breathed their last on way to a hospital, the police added.
The car driver sped away after the accident.
The bodies were handed over to heirs after legal formalities.
