TAXILA: The bodies of two men were found in a car parked in a deserted area near Hattian, in the limits of Hazro police station, in Attock on Saturday.

Police sources said the car was spotted by a passerby, who informed the police.

The police found the bodies of two men, a father and son, and moved them to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for postmortems.

When contacted, the investigating officer Sub-Inspector Mohammad Nawaz said that the preliminary investigation revealed that the bodies were shot dead at least five days ago.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Masood and his son Danish Masood, natives of Khushab who were living in Taxila. He said Mohammad Masood was a lawyer but was not currently practicing.

Mr Nawaz said that the investigation suggests that the men were killed elsewhere and their bodies left in a deserted area.
