Islamabad and Lahore win

ISLAMABAD, Sept 23: Islamabad walloped Bahawalpur by 114 runs while Lahore overcame Karachi by 26 runs in the 6th Sight Savers Blind challenge cup on Thursday. Lahore scored 172 runs for three wickets with Ashraf Bhatti making 59.

Karachi were shot out for 146 with Zohaib contributing 35.

Shaukat Ali’s magnificent 86 was the significant contribution as Islamabad piled up 260 for the loss of nine wickets against Bahawalpur.

Bahawalpur were restricted to 146 for seven wickets.

Ashraf Bhatti of Lahore and Shaukat Ali were declared Men-of-the-Matches.—APP
