BHC chief justice inaugurates Kharan judicial complex

CHAGAI: Balochistan High Court (BHC) Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail inaugurated the newly constructed Judicial Complex in the Miskan Qalat area of Kharan district on Saturday.

Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court Mohammad Noor Miskanzai, Sanaullah Baloch, member of the provincial assembly, BHC judges Justice Mohammad Hashim Kakar, Justice Abdullah Baloch and Justice Kamran Mullakhail, local lawyers and government officials attended the ceremony where guests were presented guard of honour by Levies Force on their arrival.

Chief Justice Mandokhail also visited different healthcare facilities, Levies Force station, cricket stadium and under-construction cadet college in the area. The chief justice inquired about the issues of the patients during his visit to the Divisional Headquarters Hospital in Kharan and assured them that their needs would be met.

In response to the district bar association’s demand, Chief Justice Mandokhail announced that an anti-terrorism court (ATC) would be set up in Kharan and he would immediately confer the powers of ATC judge on the sitting district and sessions judge of Kharan.

While addressing the inauguration ceremony, Justice Mandokhail vowed to promptly provide justice to the masses.

On Friday, the BHC chief justice had inaugurated newly constructed buildings of judicial complexes in Dalbandin and Nushki.
