FAISALABAD, Sept 23: Suspended Faisalabad SP Abdullah Khalid, the main accused in the Sonia Naz case, has reportedly sought pardon from her, it is learnt. A representative of Khalid, stated to be a journalist, met Naz in Lahore and sought pardon on his behalf.

Naz told him that she would consider pardon if the accused made a public confession and then sought apology.

“Khalid is ready to come to you (to seek pardon) but the public confession may not be possible for him,” the representative was quoted by sources as having said.
