ISLAMABAD, Jan 19: The special magistrate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sealed five commercial units in Blue Area for failing to pay the property tax.

The units which have been sealed include third floor of plaza no. 64-E; flat no. 10 of plaza 82-W; unit no. 3 of plaza no. 72-W; unit no. 3-A of plaza no. 8-A and basement shop no. 6-A of plaza no. 79-E.

The official said these properties were sealed under Land and Revenue Act 1967.

He said he had also served confiscation notices on the owners of 49 commercial and residential units at different areas for evading property tax.— Our Reporter
