FAISALABAD, Sept 21: Two brothers were gunned down by a group of armed people over a simmering enmity at Chak 240-RB in the Saddar police station precinct on Wednesday. Reports said a girl of the Hakim Ali family eloped with Muhammad Iqbal, a resident of Chak 240-RB, a few months ago. To exact revenge, some members of the Hakim family on Wednesday shot dead Iqbal’s brothers Liaquat Ali and Nausher Ali at their house.

Police have registered a case against Hakim Ali, Aslam, Shah Muhammad and others, but yet to arrest any of the suspects.
