QUETTA, Sept 21: Two passers-by were injured when a bomb planted outside a PTCL office in Kalat went off on Wednesday. Another bomb explosion was also reported from Kalat, some 150 kms south-east of here. Saboteurs had planted a bomb fitted with a time device to blow up a pipeline supplying gas to Kalat township.

Police sources said the explosion only damaged the iron boundary and the pipeline was safe.

The sources said that Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Munir Ahmed were injured when a home-made bomb went off outside the PTCL building. Slight damage to the building and other structures was reported.

Meanwhile, the police seized a hand grenade from an industrial area at Sarki road.
