Meeting to discuss uplift portfolio

SUKKUR, Sept 20: A meeting about preparation of the District Development Portfolio of Sindh up to June 2004 will take place on September 27 at Sukkur under the chairmanship of the additional chief secretary (development) planning and development.

The concerned DCO will provide all relevant details.

All heads of government departments in the district were asked to furnish details about their respective areas before the meeting takes place.

CONSTRUCTION: The government of Sindh has allocated an amount of Rs58 million for six ongoing development schemes of repair and construction of roads in Sukkur and Khairpur districts under the annual development programme 2005-06.

EYE CAMP: The Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Sukkur, has finalized a schedule to organize free eye camps in the last week of September. The first eye camp will be held on Sept 27 at the basic health unit, Thari taluka, Khairpur district.
