LAHORE: Coronavirus claimed lives of four more patients during the last 24 hours across the province, taking the total number of deaths to 2,157.

The number of the confirmed cases of the virus in Punjab reached 93,571 after 235 more people tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours. Of the new cases, 54 cases were reported from Rawalpindi, 52 from Lahore,30 from Gujranwala, 22 from Sialkot and 11 from Multan.

According to the official figures released by the primary & secondary healthcare department here on Wednesday, 50,602 Covid-19 tests were performed during the last 24 hours.
