LAHORE: As many as 139 new cases of coronavirus were reported during the last 24 hours across the province, taking the total number to 93,336 in Punjab.

Five more patients breathed their last in the last one day, according to the official figures released on Tuesday.

Fifty-eight cases were reported from Lahore, 17 from Gujranwala, nine from Bahawalpur, eight from Faisalabad and six from Rawalpindi.

According to the official figures, the total number of deaths in Punjab has reached 2,153 including 828 in Lahore.
