Four women killed in accident

JAUHARABAD, Sept 17: Four women were killed and six other people sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a wagon and an oil tanker on Khushab-Rawalpindi road, about 22 kilometres off here, on Saturday. According to police, a wagon (SSG-6693) was on its way to Rawalpindi from Khushab. When it reached near Katha Saghral, it collided with an oil tanker (Karachi-377) as a result of which Bhag Bhari, Ghulam Fatima, Zarina and Khadija died on the spot while six wagon passengers sustained injuries. They were admitted to the Khushab DHQ hospital.

The injured include Munir Ahmad, the driver of oil tanker, Shaukat Hayat, Imtiaz Bibi and Falak Sher. — Correspondent
