KARACHI, Sept 16: Five ships carrying containers and coal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Y.M. Fortune, Y.M. Faha, Golden Express, to unload and load containers, Paraskevi-2, to offload steel cargo, and Shalamar, to unload crude oil, were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Hyundai Sprinter, Iran Sattari, PONL Vera Cruz, Cammar Success, Golden Express and Taipan, while Ariston, Y.M. Faha, Shalamar, Manila Star, Y.M. Fortune, Kota Tabah, Sea Luck, Sinar Bontang, and Paraskevi-2 are due to sail out on Saturday.

Due to higher handling of liquid cargo, the total tonnage rose to 0.143m tons comprising 26,471 tons of export cargo and 0.116m tons of import tonnage.

The following vessels are due on Saturday: Sagamore, Al-Barakah, Thor Captain, Itha Bum, with containers and Antoine, with 38,209 tons of coal.
