RAWALPINDI: An unidentified man was found strangled to death at a deserted place in Naseerabad on Sunday.

Police said the victim seemed to be 35 to 40 years of age.

A postmortem held at the District Headquarters Hospital initially showed the cause of death as ‘compression to the neck’ as a piece of rope was found knotted around his neck.

Police said an unregistered motorcycle was also found parked near the body.

It seemed that he had been murdered the previous night.

Police are investigating the case and have registered a case against unidentified people.
