SWABI, Jan 18: Two people were killed in different incidents here on Friday.
Unidentified men shot dead the wife of Khurshid in the Marghuz village. Her family said that they had no enmity with any one.
The police registered an FIR against the unknown killers.
Halim Gul, 8, died when a car hit him near the Swabi bridge.
ENCOUNTER: A constable, Bakht Sher, was injured in an encounter with a Charas smuggler in the limits of the Kotha union council here on Friday.
Later, the police raided the house of the alleged smuggler, Said Bahadur, and arrested him. The police also recovered 1kg charas, 10 packets of heroin, one pistol and 15 cartridges.
A case was registered and the police started investigation.
