KARACHI, Sept 14: Interviews were conducted for the next managing director of the Karachi Stock Exchange on Wednesday. The post had fallen vacant after the completion of a three-year term of Moin M. Fudda, who chose not to ask for an extension.

Sources disclosed that at least three dozen applications were received by the KSE for the post of MD in response to its advertisement in the press. On Wednesday, seven applicants were interviewed by a panel of stock brokers presided by KSE Chairman Yasin Lakhani. Other members included Shahzad Chamdia and Siddiq Dalal.
