KARACHI, Sept 14: Seven ships including a rice loader and with sugar are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, Corin Thaikos, Sinar Bontang, APL Pusan to unload and load containers, Sea Luck to unload and load general cargo and Manila Star, to offload coal were berthed after the departure of four.

The vessels, which departed included Ever Gather, Yang Jiang Hel Global Wind and African Karoo, while Great Chance, APL Pusan and Ponl Vera Cruz are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total 81,677 tons comprising 3,747 tons of export cargo and 77,930 tons of import were handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Tinal, with 13,443 tons of sugar, Santa Maria, to load 11,500 tons of rice, Jipro Dream, with 6,500 tons of tallow, Paraskevi-2, Sea Crilliance, with steel cargo, Kota Tabah, and Canmar Success, with containers.
