Sindh has reported 1,150 new coronavirus cases and 27 deaths during the past 24 hours, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

In a statement, he said that 5,103 tests were conducted out of which 1,150 came back positive, a 22 per cent detection rate.

“This is one of the highest and we have to control it by following the guidelines issued by experts, the government and the WHO,” he said.

With the new cases, the provincial total has risen to 76,318 while fatalities have risen to 1,205.
