MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Sept 12: Two sisters allegedly axed to death four of their family members, including parents, after drugging them at Pandowaal Paeen village, some 30kms from here on Monday.

Reports said that Sikander Hayat had arranged marriages of his two daughters — Asia Bibi and Khansa Bibi — against their will. On Sunday night, the sisters drugged their family members. Early on Monday morning, both the girls reportedly axed to death their father Sikander (60), mother Fatima Bibi (55), brothers Saifullah (22) and Samiullah (18). While another brother Zakaria sustained serious injuries.

Kuthiala Sheikhan police have registered a case against the accused sisters on the report of Munawar Iqbal, the brother of deceased Sikander. — Correspondent
