It looks quite strange that out of FBR revenue target of Rs.4.95 trillion defense allocation has been earmarked about 30%, Rs. 1.3 trillion. In view of the Corona virus-19 pandemic which has struck globally and brought almost the entire humanity down on their knees still praying for their lives. This calamity is a wake up call about how disease exploit vulnerabilities in our health care system so the ruling dispensation anywhere and everywhere needs to give top priority to the Department of Health and Human Services. If the natives, more so poor and vulnerable are not safe from such onslaughts and remain healthy, have requisite medical facilities, there seems to be no purpose of life.
