HYDERABAD: Defence rally

HYDERABAD, Jan 18: Pakistan Muslim Rabita Council here on Friday took out “Pakistan Solidarity Rally”, which terminated at Hyderabad Press Club after parading through main city roads.

Addressing the rally, Irfan Rajput, Fayyaz Awan, Raja Saleem and Qazi Shamim said Pakistani nation was united on one platform and it would fight alongside the valiant armed forces if war was thrust on the country.

They said India should not remain under any illusion that Pakistan was a weak country. They pledged to spare no sacrifices in the defence of motherland.

SINDHI FONTS: The inventor of the Sindhi language computer software, Abdul Majid Bhurgari said that the foundation stone for the use of Sindhi language on computer had been laid due to his efforts and the efforts of Ayaz Shah.

He was addressing a seminar on “development of Sindhi computing system” held at the Sindhi Language Authority auditorium the other day.

He said that now it was possible to prepare Sindhi web page.
