KARACHI, Sept 11: A programme will be held to pay tribute to classical artist of Sindh, Ustad Manzoor Ali Khan, on his 25th death anniversary in Hyderabad. The programme is being held by the Sindh Culture and Tourism Department at the Mumtaz Mirza Auditorium on Monday evening.

A statement issued here on Saturday said Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Mazharul-Haq Siddiqi will be chief guest at the function.

Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on culture and tourism Faisal Malik Gabol will also attend the programme.

Anwar Pirzado, Shaikh Aziz, Mohammad Qasim Makka, Naz Sehito, Sharif Awan, Ustad Fateh Ali Khan and Ustad Nazir Khan are expected to shed light on different aspects of the life of Ustad Manzoor Ali Khan.

Renowned artists Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, Touseef Ali Khan, Hanif Lashari, Sanam Marvi, Anwar Hussain and Iqrar Waheed Ali will perform in the programme.

The daughter of Ustad Manzoor Ali will receive Shah Latif Excellence Award at the concluding session of the programme. — APP
