KARACHI, Sept 11: The Sindh Governor, Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, on Sunday directed officials to ensure cleanliness besides making necessary lighting arrangements in and around mosques and graveyards on the eve of Shab-i-Baraa’t. In a statement on Sunday, he directed that necessary precautionary measures should be taken against the risks of fire crackers and fireworks.

He directed officials of the KESC and KWSB to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity and water during Shab-i-Baraa’t.

Arrangements should also be made to meet any emergency situation, he added.—APP
