Sindh has recorded 1,017 new Covid-19 cases, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said. This is the highest number of cases reported within 24 hours. The total number of cases in the province is now 18,964.

The province also recorded 17 deaths, taking the toll to 316. About 127 patients are in critical condition and 32 are on ventilators, the chief minister said.

The chief minister said that 6,164 tests were conducted in the province over the past 24 hours.
