Ice-cream or popsicle stick is a wonder stuff with which you can make unlimited crafts for yourself and for the whole family as well.

So today’s craft, “popsicle stick picture puzzle” is one such incredible DIY with which you can not only amuse yourself in your leisure time, but also challenge your siblings and parents as well.

The craft is easy and could be made in just half an hour, and the good thing is you can make as many as you want. A perfect activity to enjoy your time while you are staying home these days.

Things you need:

  1. A picture (could be from an old story book, magazine or your own picture)

  2. Popsicle or ice cream sticks. You can use either the large-sized or smaller sticks, according to the size of the picture you have chosen. I have shown both the sizes here.

  3. Paper cutter.

  4. Glue stick and glue tube.

Directions:

  1. Paste white paper with a glue stick behind the picture so that it becomes hard and the picture doesn’t get damaged when you are cutting between the sticks, picture 2.

  2. When it is dry, put

glue at the back of the picture, spread it evenly, picture 3.

  1. Carefully paste popsicle sticks on the glued side of the picture, see pictures 4 and 5.

  2. Leave just the rounded tips of the popsicle sticks to be seen on top and bottom of the picture, see pictures 6 and 7.

  3. Bend the stick delicately, it will make the cutting part easier, picture 8.

  4. You can ask an adult to help you cut out each stick carefully, pictures 9 and 10.

  5. When the sticks are all cut out, you can scramble them and arrange them back, see pictures 11 and 12.

The picture puzzle is ready for you to have some fun!
