Terming the current health crisis as a "situation worse than war", Senator Sherry Rehman has said that the government is not ready to sit and come up with a policy to deal with the disease.
"Why are you telling us what happened in Italy? They made mistakes. We cannot make mistakes, we can learn," she said.
While addressing the Senate, the PPP leader said that the government has created confusion by pitting "lives versus livelihood".
"Lives always come first!" she declared.
