Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has launched a tele-counselling service for patients affected psychologically by the lockdown and outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.

The online service can be reached here and patients can also reach out on a telephone helpline: 1093.

According to Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, the service was launched with the support of UNICEF and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The chief minister said that the counselling service was "most important" during the Covid-19 outbreak.

“This situation has left adverse effects on human psyche, therefore counselling by experts would be of great help,” he stated.

The chief minister thanked the Unicef and UNDP for their support and cooperation. “We can steer the nation out of this Covid-19 quagmire by joining hands with each other,” he said.
