KHAR: Three persons were wounded when wall of a house collapsed in Bajaur tribal district, residents and officials of Rescue 1122 said on Wednesday.

They said the incident occurred in Babar Shah area, some 8kms from Khar, the district headquarters.

A Rescue 1122 official told Dawn that the persons were sitting near the wall when it collapsed due to rain.

Soon after the incident, the official said a team of rescue workers reached the area and pulled out the wounded from the rubble.

He said the wounded persons were shifted to the district headquarters hospital after being provided with first aid.

Meanwhile, two houses collapsed in Baai China and Muala Kalli areas on Tuesday night. However, no causality was reported.
