Two new cases of the novel coronavirus have emerged in Sindh, taking the provincial tally to 2,764, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said.

A while ago, Meeran Yousuf, media coordinator to the Sindh health minister, had issued a 24-hour round-up of the coronavirus situation in the province. According to numbers shared by her, Sindh's tally had increased to 2,762 after the authorities recorded 227 new cases.

Yousuf had added that there may be discrepancies in the figures announced yesterday due to doubling of some tests, but the errors have now been rectified and accounted for in the new total.
