The Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) has voiced support and said that it will follow the government's 20-point agenda for congregational prayers including Taraweeh in Ramazan.
PUC chairman Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi urged worshippers to be careful while praying in mosques and to follow preventive guidelines, cautioning that even a slight mistake in following them could lead to closure of mosques as had happened to other sectors.
He added that social distancing should be followed so the spread of the virus can be contained.
