Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has confirmed 39 new cases of the coronavirus, according to the latest report issued by the provincial health department.

The latest count brings the total case tally in the province to 656, according to the report, which also states that "figures may not conform to yesterday's Sitrep [situation report], as backlog entries have been made and duplications in data have been corrected".

Besides, the provincial health department has also confirmed the deaths of three more people from the coronavirus. This brings the death toll in the province due to Covid-19 to 25.
