SMS to register for Ehsaas Cash Programme made free: PTA

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has said that all short message services (SMSs) sent to 8171 to register for the Ehsaas Cash Programme have been made free from tomorrow.

A statement from PTA said the decision is being taken to facilitate people who have zero balance but need to register for the cash disbursement programme aimed at providing relief amid the coronavirus pandemic.
