The Asian Development Bank has decided to repurpose $50 million from the National Disaster Risk Management Fund to assist the federal government in its efforts to fight the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease.
The fund, which is part of ADB's series of support for Pakistan's efforts to fight Covid-19, will help procure medical equipment and supplies to strengthen hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, isolation units, and other medical facilities in the country, a press release said.
