Four-goal Haseen spurs bankers

KARACHI, Aug 30: Muhammed Haseen struck four goals as National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) advanced into the semifinal of National junior hockey championship in fine style by beating home team Faisalabad Division 5-3 in quarterfinal at Faisalabad Stadium on Tuesday.

According to the details received, Haseen struck in 12th, 20th, 42nd and 65th minute of the match to help his team to cruise in the last four stage of the event.

In other quarterfinals, Pakistan Steel beat KESC 4-2, PTCL outclassed Bhawalpur 12-1 and Pakistan Customs prevailed over Pakistan Railways 2-0. The semifinals will be played on Thursday.—PPI
