RAWALPINDI, Aug 29: Two batches of 21 Pakistani nationals deported by Saudi Arabia and Italy arrived on scheduled flights at Islamabad International Airport on Monday, immigration authorities said.

The first batch of 18 Pakistanis detained by the Saudi authorities on different charges arrived on a Saudi Airways flight SV-2700. Immigration authorities allowed them to go their homes after recording their statements.

A batch of three Pakistanis arrested by the Italian authorities on various charges arrived on a Gulf Air flight GF- 770. The three deportees were identified as Zulfiqar Ali, Amir Iqbal and Azhar Mehmood.
