Forty-four more foreigners have been put under quarantine at a Tableeghi Jamaat centre in Sukkur, taking the total number of foreigners quarantined there to 68, officials from the district administration have confirmed.
The foreigners had been travelling through the province for tableegh (preaching) purposes and hailed from Indonesia, Nigeria, Tunisia, Afghanistan and other countries.
According to officials, the samples of all the people present inside the quarantine centre will be sent to Karachi for testing.
