LAHORE: A young man was allegedly shot dead by his cousin over a petty issue in the Raiwind area on Thursday.

Police said Zahid and Rafaqat scuffled with each other in the street over some jokes.

Zahid brought out a pistol and shot at and injured his cousin and fled the scene, leaving him in pool of blood. Rafaqat later died on the way to hospital.

Police sent the body to morgue for autopsy and lodged a murder case against the suspect.
