Punjab reported three more cases of coronavirus late on Monday night, taking the provincial tally to 249.

Of these, 176 cases account for the pilgrims who came from Iran via the Taftan border, 51 were reported in Lahore, two in Rawalpindi, five in Gujrat, three in Jhelum, six in Gujranwala and one each in Faisalabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan and Sargodha.

All of the confirmed cases are currently in isolation wards, said the spokesperson of the provincial primary and secondary healthcare department.
