Punjab has reported 70 new cases taking the provincial tally to 222, according to Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (PSHD) spokesperson Qaiser Asif.

This includes 153 zaireen, 36 cases in Lahore, one in Multan, two in Rawalpindi, three in Gujarat, three in Jhelum and four in Gujranwala. Additionally, 20 patients are being shifted to hospitals after they tested positive for the virus.

This takes the countrywide tally to 757.
