Pakistan has recorded its first death from the novel coronavirus.

A 90-year-old man from Gilgit-Baltistan's Diamer district died from the virus during treatment, GB government spokesperson Faizullah Firaq confirmed. Health Secretary Rashid Ahmed had earlier stated the patient's age to be 58.
