The Sindh Secretariat has prohibited unauthorised officials and visitors from entering its offices, in accordance with a notification issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Mumtaz Ali Shah. The step is in line with measures being taken by the Sindh government to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.

As per the notification, only officers, officials designated and staff working in the Secretariat offices will be allowed to enter the building. Furthermore, officials working in the Secretariat will not be allowed to leave the building without permission from the competent authority.
