Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has announced that the government has decided to ban weddings at marriage halls in light of the coronavirus situation in the country for the next two weeks.
He stated that this ban will be effective from tomorrow, adding that cinemas are also being closed. "Further, a great many conferences are organised in the country. These are also being banned."
