The World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with the Sindh Health Department, has launched a three-day coronavirus emergency response management training programme for infectious diseases experts at the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, APP reports.

Representatives of private hospitals, including Ziauddin Hospital, Burhani Hospital, Kuttiyana Memon Hospital, Park Lane Hospital and others are participating in the training session.

Infectious diseases experts from WHO, Aga Khan University Hospital and Head of Infectious Diseases Department at the Civil hospital, Prof Dr Shehla Baqi, imparted basic information to doctors about coronavirus emergency response and the management of such patients in the case of a health emergency.
