Heathrow Airport says passenger numbers hit by coronavirus

London's Heathrow Airport said passenger numbers fell 4.8 per cent to 5.4 million in February, despite the additional leap day, as coronavirus impacted travel to Asian and European routes, Reuters reported.

The hub airport said demand had continued to weaken going into March and it expected a further year-on-year decrease in the coming weeks.
