Sindh Health Department has not issued any details or statement regarding a government officer being affected by coronavirus, said Meeran Yousuf, the media coordinator of the provincial health minister.
"We would request you all not to quote the department on these matters without an official statement from the department itself," she said.
Dawn.com reached out to Yousuf after reports started making rounds regarding a 19-grade officer being shifted to the isolation ward at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi after allegedly testing positive.
