KARACHI: Robbery foiled

KARACHI, Aug 26: The police has foiled a robbery bid and arrested three outlaws. According to a press release, three personnel of the Shaheen Force, during routine patrol in Tariq Road area, found five persons engaged in a scuffle with occupants of a car. As the cops reached near the car, the said persons opened fire.

Meanwhile, the personnel from Ferozabad police station also reached the spot. After an exchange of fire, they arrested three bandits and recovered three pistols and two motorcycles from their possession. Two of their accomplices managed to flee.—PPI
