Pakistan’s economy can suffer a maximum of 1.57 per cent gross domestic product (GDP) losses in case of a coronavirus outbreak in the country, according to an assessment by the Asian Development Bank.
However, the impact of the prevailing outbreak on the country’s economy is estimated between $61 million and $16.23m losses depending on how the situation evolves ranging from the worst to the best possible scenario.
