FAISALABAD, Jan 16: The Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) has criticized the decision of the Oil Companies Advisory Committee to enhance prices of petroleum products and termed it detrimental to the industrial sector.
In a statement on Wednesday, FCCI President Naeemur Rahman said that the government was earning Rs20 profit on the sale of a litre petrol but no incentives were being given to the people.
The FCCI chief said that the increase in POL prices would complicate the financial constraints the industrialists have already been facing.
